Google delays software updates to ensure smooth work from home

NEW DELHI: Tech companies are doing whatever it takes to help during the times of coronavirus. Now tech giant Google has decided to halt the next update for Chrome and Chrome OS. The company decided to pause adding the features so that the people working from home can work smoothly without any problem.
The company made this revelation via a tweet. The Chrome Developers tweeted, “Due to adjusted work schedules, we’re pausing upcoming Chrome & Chrome OS releases. Our goal is to ensure they continue to be stable, secure, & reliable for anyone who depends on them. We’ll prioritize updates related to security, which will be included in Chrome 80. Stay tuned.”
This step from Google makes sense as the company does not want its users to face any bug or error while working from home.
