Covid-19 impact: Flipkart offers work from home option to employees

BENGALURU : As a precautionary measure to tackle the coronavirus or Covid-19 scare, e-commerce firm Flipkart has offered a work from home option for three days to employees, starting Wednesday, particularly young parents with children studying up to the fifth grade.

“In addition, we are checking system preparedness for working remotely using digital/video tools,” a Flipkart spokesperson said.

Walmart-owned Flipkart has its largest number of employees working out its office in Bellandur, in Bengaluru.
