Google is killing yet another app

NEW DELHI: Recently, Google announced the shut down of its enterprise app — App Maker. Now, the company is killing another app. The tech giant is now killing its non-profit donation app called — One Today. The app was designed to support non-profit charities from a variety of causes.
The important thing to note here is that Google is killing this app after the notice of only one week. The company introduced the One Today app in 2013. As reported by Android Police, in an email sent to the users, Google has explained that the One Today app has declined over the years, which has led the company to shut down the app.
Apart from allowing users to donate to various charities the app also hosted a number of projects with videos and photos highlighting how the donations made are helping a particular cause. The app also offers users with a single receipt at the end of the year which can be used for tax deductions.
