New milestone: Economic Times crosses 4 mn total readership
Mumbai: Akin to our stock markets, business readership is finding new highs. The latest edition of the Indian Readership Survey 2019 shows that The Economic Times has touched a total readership of over 4.2 million. Total readership (TR) is defined as the number of readers that pick up a newspaper at least once in a month. ET added 320,000 readers between Q2 and Q3 – fully two-thirds of the total readers added by all business dailies in India. As many as 1.08 million of these readers pick up a copy of ET every day (or what is called the average issue readership, or AIR). This represents a growth of nearly 7%, or 69,000 new daily readers, over the last survey (Q2).
