BSNL launches Bharat AirFibre

NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Wednesday launched Bharat AirFibre to offer Internet connectivity in India’s rural and remote regions.
“We have launched Bharat AirFibre on the airwaves in the free spectrum band primarily in rural areas where there is no interference,” BSNL Director (CFA) Vivek Banzal told reporters.
BSNL aims to add 100,000 new broadband customers in the next fiscal with service plans starting from Rs 500.
