Share market update: Telecom shares advance; MTNL jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading in the positive note in Thursday’s morning session.

Shares of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (up 4.95 per cent) , Reliance Communications (up 4.71 per cent) , GTL InfrastructureNSE 12.50 % (up 2.5 per cent) , OnMobile Global (up 2.36 per cent) , Optiemus Infracom (up 1.87 per cent) , Vodafone Idea (up 1.5 per cent) , Tejas Network (up 1.19 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (up 1.18 per cent) , Vindhya Telelinks (up 1.1 per cent) , ITI (up 0.7 per cent) and HFCL Ltd (up 0.56 per cent) were among the top gainers.
