Realme is officially discontinuing this smartphone
Realme, the company that was born as Oppo’s sub-brand has discontinued its entry-level smartphone — Realme 5. The company will be replacing the Realme 5 with the newly launched Realme 5i.
The Realme 5i comes with some improvements as compared to the Realme 5 including the front camera and design.
Even though the Realme 5 has been discontinued, the device is still selling online but that is only till stocks last, revealed the company. The Realme 5 is right now selling on the company’s official website at a starting price of Rs 8,999. It comes in three storage variants — 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB and 4GB and 128GB.
The handset that is going to replace it, Realme 5i, has been launched today in a single storage variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and costs Rs 8,999. It is expected that the company will launch more storage variants of the smartphone later on.
