New Delhi: State-run Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) has contested the telecom department’s demand for Rs 15,019 crore in additional licence fee, interest and penalties for holding V-SAT and internet service provider (ISP) licences, and plans to take legal action against the notice, said company executives.
The company has replied to the notice, saying its major source of revenue is not telecom, and hence it is not liable to pay any further dues.
