5G C-band auctioned across 23 countries worldwide: GSA

NEW DELHI: A total of 23 countries worldwide have allocated 5G C-band spectrum with airwaves in the range of 3300-4200 MHz for mobile broadband, said a report by mobile vendor industry body GSA.

Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) 5G spectrum auction tracker– a separate database also revealed that Italian operators have paid more than double per MHz per head of population for C-Band than European markets like Germany and the UK.
