Why Samsung’s ‘big bet’ on 5G may have paid off in 2019

NEW DELHI: South Korean tech giant Samsung has revealed that the company has shipped over 6.7 million 5G-enabled Galaxy smartphones globally. Further, as per the Counterpoint Research report for Global 5G smartphone shipments from January-November 2019, Samsung had a 53.9% market share.
Samsung has launched five Galaxy 5G devices worldwide. These include Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note 10 5G, Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G, Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G.
