Twitter found testing this new feature in India, here’s what it does

Twitter has lately introduced a bunch of new features on its website, few of which are not even on Facebook yet. These include some features that are under tests as well and haven’t been rolled out to the masses. One of them is the feature to easily add a new tweet in a Twitter conversation thread. As found by a user and reported by Android Police, the feature saves time to navigate to your particular tweet thread and then add a tweet. As per the images shared by the user, it is possible to add a new tweet in a thread by simply tapping on the compose button from any page, swiping down the empty space to see your last tweet in your thread and typing your thoughts.
However, it looks like this feature is only available for the last Twitter thread created by you. To add a new tweet in old conversations one would have to go through the traditional method of finding it and typing a new one. It is not for sure when exactly the ‘continue thread’ button, as it is called, will be rolled out to the masses.
