First Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 smartphone announced

NEW DELHI: Chipmaker Qualcomm is expected to launch the successor of the flagship processor Snapdragon 855 in December, which as per rumours is going to be Snapdragon 865. Ahead of the launch, according to a report by My Drivers, Chinese luxury smartphone and watchmaker 8848 has already announced its phone which will come powered by this processor. The name of the handset is being touted as Titanium M6 5G. As the name suggests, the handset will offer 5G connectivity.

Officially, 8848 is the first company to announce that it is making a smartphone with the upcoming processor but that doesn’t ensure that it will be the first handset featuring this processor to hit the market since there is no word on the launch date. For those unaware, Samsung has always been the first company to make available the global variant of the flagship Qualcomm processor every year.
