Apple iPhone users can now control third-party apps that access their Instagram accounts

Tightening its grip on privacy and security, Facebook’s Instagram has this time given Apple iPhone users the ability to control third-party apps that can access their Instagram accounts. This feature is already available for some and will be reaching to all the users over the next six months. This feature is specifically for those apps that ask your permission to extract some information from your Instagram page to offer better services and features.
The photo and video-sharing website add that some of the apps that ask for permission include those that can print your Instagram images easily or help you build a website. “After connecting your account to a third-party service, you may grant them access to some of your profile information, such as your username and photos. Starting today, we’re making it easier for people to manage all of the third-party services they connect to their Instagram account,” said Instagram in a blog post.
