Companies with effective use of emerging tech seeing much faster revenue growth: Accenture research
BENGALURU: Companies that have implemented emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) into their core processes are seeing their revenue grow two times faster than the companies that are not using these technologies at the core, said the Accenture’s Future Systems Research.
Leaders adopt earlier, reinvest frequently and acquire technology in a more deliberate manner. Laggards often adopt technologies as individual point solutions without a strategy.
The research report named as, “Full Value. Full Stop. How to scale innovation and achieve full value with Future Systems”, said the “Leaders” grow revenue at “more than twice the rate of Laggards”. In 2018 alone, Laggards surrendered 15% in foregone annual revenue, and stand to potentially miss out on an 46% in revenue gains by 2023 if they do not change their enterprise technology approach.
