India needs to get a move on to transform urban mobility

There is a pressing need to transform urban mobility with a shift towards cleaner technologies, as pollution, traffic congestion, poor road safety and parking are posing challenges to urban transportation in India, according to IT industry lobby Nasscom, which has called for a unique approach to the issue in a new paper.
‘Making Urban Mobility Sustainable, Seamless, and Safe’ highlights a set of factors that will impact the urban mobility challenge, and possible ways to mitigate it.
