PK Mishra-headed PMO panel to discuss BSNL, MTNL revival

NEW DELHI: The new Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pramod Kumar Mishra will take up the revival of the stressed state-run telecom companies — Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) on Thursday.

“The meeting will be held on September 26 since the new Principal Secretary was not privy to the subject and not involved in earlier discussions and it is expected that all the concerned secretaries will attend it,” Aftab Ahmad Khan, president, Sanchar Nigam Executives Association (SNEA) told ETT.
