YouTube gets the ability to ‘expose’ those who troll in video comments

YouTube is giving video creators a new ability to ‘expose’ trolls who comment on videos. The new feature is called ‘Profile Cards’ and is currently under tests. The feature, as mentioned by TechCrunch, was announced on YouTube’s Creator Insider channel where the firm usually shares details on the upcoming changes that video creators will see in the future.
It has been explained that it will be possible for the creator to view the profile card whenever they click on the commenter’s name. It will reveal all their comments made on other videos in the same channel. For now, if you click on the name of the commenter, YouTube navigates you to his/her channel. Now, it will show the channel but won’t redirect you automatically.
