Cyber cell nabs 2 for duping via fake call centre

Two members of an interstate gang involved in duping senior citizens in the name of renewal of lapsed insurance policies were nabbed by Cyber Cell Indore unit from Delhi; call centers were operated by miscreants to target policies holders have lapsed insurances.

While talking to media persons, ADG Cyber Crime Purushottam Sharma said that 63 mobile numbers have been seized from the miscreants and 22 different bank accounts have been recovered which were used to dupe the victims across the country. The victims were duped in the name of making their lapsed policy active and would ask to deposit money in different bank accounts.
