Why Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro may be the unannounced Poco smartphone
Xiaomi, after generating hype about the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones over the past few weeks, finally launched the duo in India. The starting price of the smartphones is Rs 21,999 and 27,999 for the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro respectively. However, one of them might just have been a Poco-branded smartphone. Before the Redmi K-series launch there were some users on social media asking about the upcoming Poco F2, which was (is) supposed to be the natural successor of Poco F1 but Xiaomi never released an official statement on it. And now there seems to be evidence proving that Redmi K20 and K20 Pro might have been made by Xiaomi keeping the Poco brand in mind.
The design is completely different and the two smartphones run MIUI 10 slapped on top of Android 9.0 Pie. But most of you might not be knowing that the two smartphones run Poco launcher by default. It is the only launcher that is available. There is no default system launcher running in Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. And this comes out of the box.
