Amazon to offer VR experience of products during Prime Day

E-commerce major Amazon India has announced that it will offer Virtual Reality (VR) demo of products to shoppers during Prime Day sale. While shoppers are used to buying products after viewing images of it, the VR experience will provide a closer look at the product before they hit the ‘buy’ button.
Shoppers will be able to view products in 360 degree views and evaluate products in the environment that they are likely to use it in. This VR experience is available for new products launching on Prime Day. Customers in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata can enjoy the VR experience by visiting the Amazon Prime Day Experience Zones in select malls in their city between July 6 and July 16. Shoppers who experience VR will get exclusive cashback offers for shopping on Prime Day.
