Jio launches prepaid plan for Amarnath Yatra in J&K circle

Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio ) has rolled out prepaid plans in Jammu & Kashmir circle for pilgrims heading Amarnath.

“The plan is designed to address the needs of pilgrims from other parts of the country who are on prepaid plans. J&K has restrictions on the roaming facilities of prepaid subscribers from the rest of the country and hence the pilgrims are faced with connectivity challenge during their yatra,” said the Mukesh Ambani led telco in a statement on Thursday.
