Apple’s recall of 15-inch MacBook Pros might be a blessing in disguise

Apple Inc said on Thursday it would recall a limited number of 15-inch MacBook Pro units as their batteries are susceptible to overheating and pose a “fire safety risk”.The affected units were sold between September 2015 and February 2017.

As mentioned earlier, only a limited number of 15-inch MacBook Pro units made between September 2015 and February 2017 are affected. The unit is fairly easy to identify—it is the one with full-size ports and a taller keyboard.
