BDL, IIIT-H set up AI Centre

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad) and Bharat Dynamics (BDL) have set up an exclusive Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Missile Technology.

The CoE will function as an AI Laboratory for the public sector entity, building an understanding of BDL’s products and business within the IIIT-H’s research groups.

It will take about five AI projects a year in both software and hardware segments, covering missiles, manufacturing, inspection and allied areas.

The CoE, which was launched by the IIIT-H Director PJ Narayanan and Siddharth Mishra, Chairman and Managing Director of BDL.
