Share market update: Telecom shares slip; Aksh Optifibre slumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Most telecom shares were trading in the negative zone in Tuesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Aksh Optifibre (down 5.48 per cent), GTL (down 4.11 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 3.47 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.57 per cent) were trading lower.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 1.37 per cent), Tejas Networks (down 1.10 per cent), Reliance Communications (down 0.94 per cent) and Vindhya Telelinks (down 0.56 per cent) too were trading in the red.
