Amazon refreshes Fire 7 tablet with faster processor, more storage

Amazon on Friday upgraded its Fire 7 tablet. The new Fire 7 tablet now comes with a faster processor and packs more built-in storage. It is priced at $49.99 (Rs 3,500 approx), and will start shipping from June 6 in the US.

The new Fire 7 tablet comes in four colour options of black, plum, sage and twilight blue. There are two storage options to choose from – 16GB and 32GB which will retail at $69.99 (Rs 4,900 approx). Amazon Fire 7 tablet offers microSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 512GB. The tablet is powered by the same but faster 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
