OnePlus takes a dig at Apple, Samsung and Huawei in the US with OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus seems to be sharpening its focus on the US market. After claiming a spot among the top five premium smartphone brands, the Chinese smartphone brand is now looking at playing the price card in the US while pitching its upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro as an “hassle-free” alternative to the phones from Apple, Samsung and Huawei. OnePlus took out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times, to reiterate the ‘price advantage’ of its devices.
In the advertisement, OnePlus seems to be screaming aloud to let Americans know that a Chinese company is offering a ‘better smartphone’ at an affordable price with a ‘better design and better experience’. This is similsr to the strategy that the company followed in India, way back in 2014 when it launched its first phone in the country.
The advertisement reads “No bells & whistles. No bezels. No notch. No app lag. No bloatware. No $2000 price tag. No random music. Just a better phone. OnePlus 7 Pro.”
