IT, BPM companies tap Jet employees for airline experience

Bengaluru: Business process management and technology services companies are offering jobs to Jet Airways’ employees, as they look for experience in the airline industry for better domain expertise.

BPM companies that have higher exposure to the travel business expect Jet AirwaysNSE -3.91 % staff to add value to customers.

Such trained staff would have room at WNS given their better insights, chief executive Keshav Murugesh said in a tweet. The India unit of Lowe’s too is looking to hire engineers from the technology team of the grounded airline.

Nearly 2,000 employees in the engineering and maintenance department of Jet Airways have been affected after the private airline decided to ground all its aircraft this month.
