The ‘AirPower mat’ may just end up finding a place in the next iPhone
The launch of the new iPhone is approximately six months away and it’s that time of the year when rumours and leaks about the device start to gather steam. The latest rumour comes from one of the most reliable iPhone tipster. Analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has revealed that the 2019 iPhones will come with “two-way” charging or better known as reverse wireless charging. The feature first came in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and then in Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lineup.
This report comes days after Apple officially confirmed that it will not be releasing the AirPower mat.
As per a report by Mac Rumors Kuo said, “We expect the new 2H19 iPhone models will support two-way wireless charging.” Kuo also mentioned that this reverse wireless charging feature will make it more convenient for the users of the recently launched Wireless Charging Case.
