India woos global geospatial industry with human capital, seeks investment

AMSTERDAM: India on Monday invited the global geospatial industry to tap into its huge talent pool.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the World Geospatial Forum 2019 in Amsterdam on Monday, Venu Rajamony, Indian ambassador to The Netherlands, said, “In India, one commodity we are very proud of is our human resource. We have the people not only to meet our own needs, but also the whole world’s. We have highly qualified people in [land] surveying, digitisation, and mapping, etc. Come engage with India, invest in India.”
