BSNL rolls out Wi-Fi hotspot vouchers starting at Rs 19

State-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced new tariff vouchers which will enable users to access its Wi-Fi hotspots across all the major cities in the country. Last year, telecom minister Manoj Sinha announced that India will have around one million Wi-Fi hotspots by the end of this year. So, the new tariff vouchers from BSNL are seen as a step towards achieve that goal.

BSNL has operations in 20 telecom circles in the country and it has introduced the Wi-Fi hotspot vouchers for all its subscribers. The telecom operator has listed the tariff for these vouchers on its website. As part of the Wi-Fi hotspot vouchers the company is offering four plans all of which are below Rs 100. The plans start at Rs 19 in which users will get 2GB data for two days.
