Five premium flagship mobiles that still have ‘good old’ 3.5mm headphone jack

These days it’s hard to come by a premium smartphone that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Most high-end smartphones, be it Apple, Google, OnePlus, or Samsung are omitting headphone jacks altogether and are introducing reversible ports like USB-C or Lightning.

In a vast range of mid-to-entry level phones, 3.5mm jack is a piece of standard equipment even today. However, from all the premium ones, it is disappearing at a rapid rate since 2016, making it harder for one to listen to music if he does not want to go wireless.

The first phone to ditch the jack was from LeEco also introducing the USB-C. Following this, several other smartphones like iPhone, Google Pixel, Xiaomi Mi 6, and HTC U11 let the path.
