Facebook CEO makes a new promise to bring this important WhatsApp feature to Messenger, Instagram

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made what can be called yet another ‘promise’ to the world on making messaging more secure than before. This comes right from Zuckerberg’s new blog post. One of the terms that echoed in the entire 3200-word post was ‘encryption’ and the company’s plan to bring it across all its messaging suite soon.
As per the post, Zuckerberg plans to make other messaging platforms owned by Facebook secure by adding one of the features that WhatsApp is best known for – end-to-end encryption. This means messaging platforms on Instagram and the standalone app – Messenger is likely to get the same treatment in future.
“I believe the future of communication will increasingly shift to private, encrypted services where people can be confident what they say to each other stays secure and their messages and content won’t stick around forever.
