Meizu Note 9 – rival to Redmi Note 7, Realme 3 – launched with 48-megapixel rear camera

Meizu Note 9 was formally launched in China on Wednesday. The latest smartphone from the stables of Meizu comes with specifications that directly counter those offered by Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7, Samsung Galaxy M20, and Realme 3. The Meizu Note 9 has a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL camera at the back, which makes the company join the ranks of Honor and Xiaomi.

The Meizu Note 9 price is set at 1,398 yuan (roughly Rs 15,000) for the base variant. The price goes up to 1,598 yuan (roughly Rs 16,800) for two variants – one with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and the other with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The colour variants include Starry Blue, Magic Black, and Blue. It will be available in China initially while its India launch is uncertain as of now.
