Major bug lets Android TV user access Google Photos of hundreds of other users

While Google revealed Apple’s macOS bug, it also temporarily disabled one of its own Android TV features due to the same reason. A bug was recently found by one of the Android TV users that showed him images from Google Photos from someone else’s account.
The bug showed up when the person used the Google Home app to view private images and videos from different accounts. The affected user claimed to have got access to photos of total strangers using Android TV on a VU-branded TV. The user named @wothadei on Twitter attached a video as well with the caption.
“When I access my Vu Android TV through the @Google Home app, and check the linked accounts, it basically lists what I imagine is every single person who owns this television. This is shocking incompetence.” He later tweeted that “Oh my god. Private @googlephotos of strangers are being shown to me in the ambient mode screensaver.”
