CMMI certification for SFO Technologies

SFO Technologies, the flagship company of the diversified conglomerate NeST Group, has been appraised at CMMI Dev 2.0 Maturity Level 5. The company claims that they are the first firm in the world to win the certification.

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process level improvement training and appraisal programme administered by the CMMI Institute, developed at Carnegie Mellon University in the US. The appraisal process covers the software operations of NeST Group, across domains such as aerospace & defence, healthcare, transportation and industrial & energy. The certification is the best endorsement for the mature and standards-compliant process framework employed by the company, resulting in proven delivery capabilities for software that is defect-free and conforming to customer requirements, said Althaf Jehangir, Executive Director (Hardware Division).
