Huawei’s foldable 5G phone Mate X launched at MWC 2019: Key highlights

Huawei is all set to launch its first-ever foldable smartphone — Huawei Mate X — at an event being held on sidelines of MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress). The event is scheduled to start at 2pm CET (6.30pm IST) today (February 24). The foldable phone is also reported to be 5G ready. Late last week, Huawei leaked the name of its foldable phone Mate X. The company posted an image of a billboard on Twitter from a user (@gimme2pm). The billboard has three images of the phone in various stages of the device being unfolded. The tagline, “World’s first foldable 5G smartphone”. The word Huawei Mate X can also be spotted.
