Allow BSNL to utilise its properties for commercial purpose: unions

All Unions and Associations of BSNL, Vizianagaram chairman B.Bhaskara Rao, convener A.B.K.Ramesh and others urged the government to allow BSNL to utilise its properties for commercial usage and to overcome its financial difficulties.

They said that BSNL would be able to generate over Rs. 10,000 crore every year if it was given permission for its proposed ‘Land Management Policy’.

Speaking to media on Friday, they said that the organisation was not in a position to pay salaries with the stiff competition in mobile services in the country.
