Samsung has made its move. Over to you, Apple

NEW DELHI: Yes, we are aware that OnePlus has been making inroads in the premium smartphone market. We also know that Huawei is trying desperately to be in this elite consideration set of premium buyers. However, a large section of the premium users are still divided into categories: those who buy Samsung phones and those who love the Apple iPhone. In this perennial battle between the two powerhouses, two days back Samsung fired its opening salvo for the year 2019. In Samsung’s arsenal there are now not just two phones but five phones that will make competition – mainly Apple – sit up and take note. Not just in the smartphone market but Samsung went full throttle with the launch of Galaxy Buds (AirPods rival), Galaxy Watch Active (Apple Watch rival) and another fitness band, Galaxy Fit.
