Tech Mahindra, Rakuten unveil 5G lab in Tokyo

New Delhi: Indian ITes company Tech Mahindra and Japanese Rakuten Mobile Network Wednesday unveiled the Rakuten Cloud Innovation Laboratory, a next generation (4G and 5G) software-defined network laboratory in Tokyo.

Established in line with an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) signed by Tech Mahindra and Rakuten in October 2018, the Rakuten Cloud Innovation Laboratory is a fully automated testing facility that aims to foster innovation across mobile network, IT digital architecture, cloud and enterprise applications, the two companies in a joint statement said.
