Airtel boosts 4G on 900 MHz band in Mumbai

NEW DELHI: India’s telecom operator Airtel on Thursday said that it has further upgraded its 4G network in Mumbai with the deployment of LTE 900 technology.

The technology is expected to significantly enhance the network experience for Airtel’s smartphone customers.

It will also allow Airtel users to experience improved 4G availability inside buildings – homes, offices and malls, along with wider availability of Airtel 4G across Mumbai.

“Our endeavor is to deliver best-in-class network experience to our customers. The deployment of LTE 900 will further boost Airtel’s 4G coverage, particularly inside homes and buildings.
