Phenomenal increase in monthly mobile data usage

The monthly mobile data usage in India has increased phenomenally in the last five years. “India is now leading the world in the consumption of mobile data. Monthly consumption of mobile data increased by over 50 times in the last five years,” said Finance Minister Piyush Goyal, while presenting the Interim Budget for 2019-20 in the Lok Sabha last week.
