We have been hearing about the large scale layoffs of the IT employees. Companies and the government have been denying these mass layoffs and painting this exercise as a regular exercise. Both the companies and government argue that layoffs happen in every industry for the non-performers. Some of the companies blame US protectionist policies and automation for the layoffs.
