81% of Indian mobile users are on 4G phones: Survey

New Delhi NCR: A significant 81% of mobile users use 4G smartphone, followed by 3G and 2G devices, a MoMAGIC report revealed on Friday. It said that more users are now using 4G network for their mobile internet needs due to affordable 4G mobile data price.

The company’s previous survey conducted in October 2017 had revealed that only 56% of respondents were using 4G mobile phones, and a substantial 34% were using 3G, of which many have moved to 4G mobile speeds.

The reasons cited for the migration for this change were affordability, network reach and affordable 4G-supported phones.

Arun Gupta, Founder & CEO of MoMAGIC Technologies said that the company expects over 90% of India users will move to 4G network by 2020-end.
