75 million downloads of Arogya Setu app: Sanjay Dhotre

New Delhi: Government’s official COVID tracker, the Aarogya Setu app, has been downloaded by 75 million users on their mobile phones, the ministry of information technology said.

The Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Communications, and HRD, Shri Sanjay Dhotre called this app one of the most important tools in fighting Covid-19 and requested the officials to popularise this app quite aggressively, even in those areas which experience low internet connectivity to popularise the app.

The Minister had detailed discussions on gradual opening up of IT and IT enabled services post lockdown, through video conferencing on Friday.
