70% GCCs have large security teams in India
About 70% of global captive centers (GCC) of multinational companies (MNCs) have large cybersecurity teams in India, according to a new report by Nasscom, DSCI and KPMG released on Wednesday.
The report titled ‘Secure in India 2023’ found that the maximum increase in cyber skill demand, among GCCs, is noted for cloud security (81%), followed by third-party risk management (78%), cybersecurity risk assessments (75%), technology regulatory compliance and standards management (75%) and secure development (69%). Data Security Council of India (DSCI) is a not-for-profit, industry body on data protection in India, set up by Nasscom.
