5G smartphone shipments in India grow 45% in Q2, led by Samsung, OnePlus: CMR

NEW DELHI: 5G smartphone shipments in India grew by 45% year-over-year in Q2 2023 led by Samsung and OnePlus with a share (by volume) of 24% and 20%, respectively, according to the latest report released by CyberMedia Research (CMR) on Friday.

The 5G smartphone shipments surpassed 100 million units in the June quarter of 2023, as per CMR. The share of 5G smartphones in the overall shipments reached 47% in Q2 2023 up from 31% in Q2 2022.
