5G Congress: A range of factors are needed to develop 5G technology

NEW DELHI: Sharing key ingredients to 5G adoption, Bharti Airtel CTO Randeep Sekhon on Thursday said that robust 4G network, physical infrastructure, low cost 5G devices, applications and 5G-ready workforce will be crucial for developing the technology.

Speaking at ETTelecom’s 5G Congress, Sekhon elaborated on each of the points while emphasizing on the importance of physical and power infrastructure along with backhaul.
