560 stolen mobile phones and ₹3L cash recovered, man held

Hyderabad: Madhapur police arrested a man for procuring and selling stolen mobiles and recovered 563 phones, ₹3 lakh cash and a car, all worth ₹1.9 crore.

Special Operations Team of Madhapur and Raidurgam police arrested G Ramanji, 54, of LB Nagar during a vehicle check.

Madhapur DCP G Sundeep said Ramanji worked as an RTC bus conductor till 2005 and from 2006, he ventured into realty business. Due to huge losses in business, he started selling stolen phones.
