43 million existing users upgraded to HiPi: ZEE5

Around 43 million existing users of video on demand service ZEE5 have upgraded to the new short video platform HiPi on the app, the company said. ZEE5 said since the beta launch of HiPi on August 14, it has witnessed 21 million new user installs. HiPi users have created over 10,000 hours of short form content on the platform, the company said.

“Our focus is to build a super app which caters to all the consumers. Our objective is to ensure ZEE5 users are also sampling HiPi. We are getting good video views everyday. This has been without any marketing. It is all organic. People on the platform are highly engaged
