40 YouTube channels from one Chhattisgarh village: How locals are creating content for living
Thanks to a digital wave sweeping India, there has been a constant surge in the number of content creators and they are making their presence felt by coming from all parts of the nation. Breaking the language and class barriers, this new breed of YouTube creators have earned a huge following in India’s hinterland and non-English speaking communities.
Tusli village in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur is one such example, where a large number of locals have been creating content for the online video sharing and social media platforms and making a career out of it, as reported by news agency ANI. The locals have about 40 YouTube channels and they are not only limited to entertainment. Some of these channels also offer educational content.
